Del Toro set for U of ' Delivery '

NewstogramGuillermo del Toro is bound to produce the drama of action "Midnight delivery" for universal, adding to an impressive list of projects in development at the Studio.

Neil Cross ("MI: 5") is writing the screenplay based on an original idea of the torus. Gary Ungar will serve as a manufacturer of exec.

News of the project has been reported for the first on the site pajiba.com, who said: the story centers on a father who becomes a drug mule to save the life of her son.

Scott Bernstein will oversee the project for the study.

Del Toro made a long-term commitment in 2008 at universal, where he has a deal first look, on an adaptation of the novel by Dan Simmons ' "Drood" and remake of "Frankenstein", "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" and "Slaughterhouse-five."
